Why our bodies are awesome

Our bodies work so much harder than we give them credit for. Yes sometimes they might change temporarily, like retaining water, getting bloated etc but those are just ways our bodies are trying to do the best they can to keep us healthy.

It’s easy to forget but our bodies don’t give a shit about our fitness goals. Their primary goal is to keep us alive so everything they do (or don’t do) is geared towards this. Of course, that doesn’t mean we can’t chase whatever goals we want but we do need to remember that our body isn’t against us, it just has different goals!


It’s hard to be kind to our bodies but it is so important. We don’t get a trade so why not make the most of what you’ve got?
