What could you do if you believed in yourself?

At the time, I was able to entertain the idea that maybe I could recover. Maybe my hard work would pay off and maybe my life could get better. I started to think ‘Why not me?’ and I’ve tried to have that mindset ever since. Over the past few years I’ve really been able to see the benefits of believing in myself: I completed a PhD, set up my own coaching business and regularly write for a number of publications about health, fitness and science. None of this would have happened if I didn’t at least consider that it was possible for me. Think about what you could do if you believed in yourself, or at least stopped doubting yourself all the time. You can do so much more than you realise. I can’t promise that things will work out but if you can acknowledge that it is possible, you’re already halfway there. It’s not easy and you will likely still experience doubts from time to time. That is absolutely fine, you are not a failure for not being constantly positive, you’re human.
