I find that so many people postpone their happiness until they get the ‘perfect body’. They live a life that makes them miserable under the belief that when their body changes that things will be different. That ‘perfect body’ is rarely achieved and the idea that happiness is found within a certain body shape or size is a myth propagated by diet culture. In fact, the continual quest to chase the ‘perfect body’ takes time and energy away from other areas of your life that you do enjoy. You are so much more than your body and you deserve to be happy right now. Don’t put it off. Do what you enjoy and you’ll find that how your body looks becomes a lot less important.
