Owning your food choices

To me, food freedom isn’t really about what you eat, it’s about why. If you eat a cupcake but experience a lot of anxiety, judgement and guilt around it, then that’s not really a win

If you feel the need to ‘compensate’ before or after, that’s still restriction. The ironic thing is that attempts to mitigate it are more likely to lead to overconsumption because you feel deprived, mentally and physically.

You don’t have to spend your life feeling shit around food. It you work on allowing yourself treats and practice just moving on afterwards, it will eventually become your new normal. You can have your cake and eat it too.
