Is it okay to eat when you’re not hungry?
It’s great to be in touch with hunger and fullness cues and to eat in accordance with those. However, it’s fine to eat when we aren’t feeling hungry too, the key is awareness.
Maybe you fancy some dinner leftovers, which look really good or there is a dessert on the menu that is right up your street. You might not feel physically hungry at these times but it’s fine to eat if you want to!
Food is fuel but it is also to be enjoyed, particularly when in the company of others. .
