Intuitive eating vs dieting: measuring progress
Moving away from a diet mentality means reevaluating your goals as well as how you measure progress towards them. Instead of focusing on numbers, you shift towards focusing on behaviours. Instead of aiming trying to make your body look a certain way, you begin to accept how it naturally wants to be. Instead of being fixated with an outcome, you embrace the process. Intuitive eating looks different for everyone because it’s about tuning into your own body’s wisdom. It can be a long journey to get to a place where you feel in alignment but the time and energy spent is so worthwhile.
