How to handle Easter

Celebrations involving food can be stressful. There’s lots of advice floating around about how to handle these events and it can be overwhelming. Food is not just fuel and I think it’s important to be able to participate in special events involving food without anxiety, judgement or guilt. You are not a bad person for eating chocolate. You are not ‘addicted to food’ and you don’t need more willpower. You need to be kind to yourself by allowing yourself to enjoy chocolate and moving on with your life. It’s just food. There is so much more out there to put your time and energy towards.
