How to be happy and healthy


I don't claim to be an expert on either health or happiness. There is no magic formula and they are different for everyone. However, there are some strategies you can use to find your own balance. Ultimately, it comes down to making conscious choices that feel good to you. These decisions might change over time and that's fine. There isn't a finish line with this stuff.

It's also important to remind yourself that you are not a failure if you are in poor health or are unhappy. Sometimes shit happens and the best you can do is stay afloat. Seeking health and happiness are privileges and it is hugely important that we don't shame ourselves (or others) for our behaviours.

I know there is a lot of shit floating around this time of year about transformation and it can feel like a lot of pressure. Whether you decide to make changes or not, both choices are okay. You don't need to justify your decisions to anyone. However, if you are in a place where seeking happiness and health are in line with your goals and lifestyle, I hope that this is helpful.
