Diet vs lifestyle mentality

I see so many people struggling with a diet mentality and it makes me really sad. Barely eating, eating foods they hate and restricting foods they love. They overeat regularly because they can't sustain that approach. Your life is not meant to be lived on a diet! Instead, a lifestyle approach is where you focus on giving you body what it needs. This means adequately fueling yourself to thrive mentally and physically. It means not only eating enough but also having regular treats so that your lifestyle is enjoyable.

If you are struggling with the diet mentality, know that it can get better. Make sure to surround yourself with positive people, seek support from a coach if it's affordable and make slow and steady changes. It will be hard at first but I guarantee that it will be worth it. You'll be pleasantly surprised with how much energy you have, mentally and physically, so that you can focus on the stuff that really matters in life.
