Diet mentality vs intuitive eating...⠀
The 3 central ideas within intuitive eating relate to food, exercise and your body. Although seemingly simple, it is nuanced and takes a lot of practice. However, I firmly believe it is possible for everyone to become an intuitive eater if they want to. The reason that I am so passionate about intuitive eating is that I see so many people living their lives on a diet, punishing themselves with workouts they hate and constantly trying to change their bodies yet never being satisfied. I see people putting off doing activities they enjoy until they get the ‘perfect body’. People end up miserable and burned out, mentally and physically. You are worth more. When you build a healthy relationship with food, exercise and your body, you free up so much time and energy to focus on what really matters. Life is short, you owe it to yourself to make it count.
